To access CUNY-wide resources from off-campus, you must have an activated Library barcode.
- Activate your Library barcode
You must activate your barcode at the Brooklyn College Library Circulation Desk (you've already done this if you've checked out books). Your activated Library barcode will allow you to use CUNY-wide resources from off-campus.
For an updated list of CUNY-Wide resources, go to: http://library.brooklyn.cuny.edu/ and click Databases. Look for the resources with the icon.
- Access CUNY-wide Resources from off campus
- From the Library's "Databases" page, click on the CUNY icon to the left of the database you wish to access
- The CUNY authentication screen should appear next (see below).

- Type in your activated Library barcode number (no spaces or dashes) and click "Login"
- You should be taken directly to the database you chose.
