In general, the whole Library is quiet (i.e., loud talking is discouraged and cell phones should be put on vibrate). However, there are specific reading rooms dedicated to quiet study:
Other especially quiet areas are the circular alcoves, located across the Library from the main staircase on the Lower Level, 1st floor, and 2nd floor, as well as the many study carrels, located on each floor.
